When it comes to design, there are really no rules. The best designs are those that are able to push the boundaries and try something new. That's not to say that all innovation is good, of course. But the best designers are always looking for ways to improve upon the status quo.

Good design is often said to be aesthetic, but what does that really mean? In general, when we talk about aesthetics, we're referring to the appearance of something.
